We have to live together all the time. We fight
with each other and yet we live together.
This is not the way to live life. It is not considered a
family life. If you ask our old ladies how to live life, they
will tell you, ‘Eat and drink in peace, why do you rush
through your meals?’ First you must ascertain your necessities and then all the rest is unnecessary. You must also realize it is the unnecessary things that confuses people and makes them take sleeping pills.

Do not confuse understanding with a larger vocabulary. Sacred writings are beneficial in stimulating desire for inward realization, if one stanza at a time is slowly assimilated. Otherwise, continual intellectual study may result in vanity, false satisfaction, and undigested knowledge.
